Miami's Trusted Restoration Crew
After water damage, mold remediation, fire restoration, or drywall replacement — the final step that makes everything look whole again is a professional paint job. At On The Map Restoration, our interior painters work hand-in-hand with our restoration crew so the finish is seamless, the colors match, and the result looks like the damage never happened.
We serve homeowners and businesses across Miami, Coral Gables, Doral, Homestead, Miami Beach, and surrounding South Florida communities. Whether it's a single repaired wall or a full property repaint after a major loss event, we deliver a clean, lasting finish every time.

Why It Matters
Painting over restored surfaces isn't the same as a standard repaint. Repaired drywall needs the right primer, water-stained ceilings need stain-blocking sealers, and post-fire surfaces need odor-encapsulating coatings. Get it wrong and the stains bleed through, the odors return, and the finish peels within months.
We use shellac-based and oil-based stain-blocking primers on all water-damaged and smoke-affected surfaces — so stains never bleed through the finish coat.
We match your existing wall colors and sheen levels precisely — so repainted sections are invisible and the whole room looks uniform and intentional.
For fire and smoke damage, we apply specialized odor-encapsulating sealers that lock in residual smoke odor before any finish coat is applied.
Interior painting after a covered loss event is often claimable. We document all work and coordinate with your insurer to make sure nothing is left on the table.
Our Process
A professional paint job is 80% preparation. We never skip the steps that make the finish last.
We inspect all surfaces for residual moisture, staining, adhesion issues, and texture inconsistencies before any primer or paint is applied.
Floors, trim, and fixtures are fully masked and protected. Any remaining surface imperfections — nail pops, hairline cracks, or joint seams — are filled and sanded smooth.
The right primer is selected for each surface type — stain-blocking for water damage, odor-encapsulating for smoke, PVA for fresh drywall — and applied uniformly before any finish coat.
Two coats of premium finish paint are applied using the right tools for each surface — roller for walls and ceilings, brush for trim — delivering a smooth, even, professional result.
We do a full walkthrough inspection before removing masking. All protective materials are removed, the space is cleaned, and touch-ups are completed before we sign off.
