Crime Scene Cleanup

Professional, Private, and Compassionate Remediation When Lives Are Changed

What It Really Means to Handle a Crime Scene Cleanup

It’s not just blood. It’s not just broken glass. It’s trauma, grief, fear — and the weight of what just happened. When we enter a scene, we’re not just there to clean — we’re there to restore dignity to the space and peace of mind to those impacted. That means we work quietly, efficiently, and with total respect for the people and emotions involved.

Our crime scene cleaners are trained in biohazard remediation, OSHA compliance, and psychological sensitivity. We use hospital-grade disinfectants and follow strict containment protocols to safely remove bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, fingerprint dust, tissue, and contaminated items — all while maintaining privacy and professionalism. In most cases, our team works in unmarked vehicles to avoid drawing attention.

When the Police Leave, We Step In — and Stay Until It’s Safe

Law enforcement may complete their investigation and clear the scene, but what’s left behind is not safe. Blood and bodily fluids carry dangerous bacteria and pathogens like Hepatitis B, C, and HIV. Without proper cleanup, contaminated surfaces can become health risks. Carpets, flooring, drywall, even HVAC systems may need to be treated or removed depending on the scope of the incident.

We assess everything — not just what’s visible. Our team uses ATP testing to detect microscopic contamination and ensure that every inch of the space is fully remediated. This is not the time for shortcuts. We clean, disinfect, deodorize, and rebuild where necessary.

And we don’t leave until the property is fully safe for re-entry. That’s our promise.

True Emergency Response — With Human Understanding

Crime scenes don’t follow a schedule, and neither do we. We operate 24/7, because trauma doesn’t wait. Whether we’re called to a private home in the middle of the night or a public facility at dawn, our team is ready to respond with speed, silence, and support.

Sometimes we’re working with grieving families. Other times, we’re working with property managers, police departments, or business owners. No matter who calls us, we respond the same way: with urgency, clarity, and full transparency.

Every cleanup is documented for liability, insurance, and legal reasons — and we provide all necessary paperwork to clients or claims adjusters. But above all, we respect the privacy of every scene, and never share details or visuals unless legally required.

The People Behind the Cleanup

We’re not just technicians — we’re fathers, mothers, neighbors. We’re people who understand what it means to walk into a home that’s been changed forever. Since 2018,

- A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

history

On The Map Restoration was born out of a deep desire to provide more than just technical cleanup. We saw a need — a gap — in how trauma scenes were being handled. Cleaners were rushing in, doing surface-level work, and walking away, often leaving grieving families to deal with the emotional and physical aftermath. That didn’t sit right with us.

Since opening our doors in 2018, we’ve handled some of the most complex and sensitive biohazard scenes in Miami and throughout South Florida. From private residences impacted by sudden loss to commercial buildings requiring immediate biohazard clearance, our team has quietly helped restore hundreds of spaces — and just as many lives.

With over 13 years of combined field experience in remediation, safety compliance, and restoration, our leadership team built this company on three values: integrity, compassion, and discretion. We don’t advertise our trauma work loudly — because the people we help often prefer privacy. Instead, we let our reputation grow the right way: through quiet service, consistent excellence, and word of mouth from those who’ve seen how we work up close.
